Description of Activities

A foreigner aged 60 (sixty) years or older residing in the Indonesian territory for a maximum of 1 (one) year.

Required Documents:

  • Passport valid for at least 6 (six) months (for holders of travel documents other than passports such as emergency passports, documents of identity, etc. must be valid for 12 months).
  • Personal bank statement with minimum amount USD $2000 or equivalent the last 3 months period (including name, date of period, and balance account).
  • Recent photograph.
  • Guarantee from the guarantor.
  • Bank account proving income or allowance with a value of US$5,000 per month.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Proof of health and death insurance and third-party legal liability insurance in the civil sector either in the country of origin or Indonesia.
  • Statement of accommodation living in Indonesia. Min. cost $35.000 if you buy a house / apartment, or min. rental cost $500 per month if you’re staying in Jakarta, Bandung, Bali; $300 per month for other cities on Java Island, Batam, and Medan; $200 per month for other cities and other island.
  • A statement letter of employing at least 2 Indonesian citizens for being housemaid while in Indonesia.
  • Letter of appointment for a travel agency designated to handle the elderly.

Visa Validity

  • This visa must be used within 90 days from the date of issue.
  • Please note that the visa validity period is different from the period of stay, kindly check your visa for the period of stay Information.

Note:

  • Please remember the processing time of obtain visa exclude public holidays and error system in government.
  • After your arrival in Indonesia, you're required to give your original passport to us as soon as possible. This is in order to report to the nearby immigration office.
  • For a Temporary Stay Permit with a maximum duration of 1 year, it can be submitted at the earliest 30 days and at the latest on the day the ITAS expires.
  • Extension applications for ITAS that have been submitted and the immigration fees paid before the ITAS expires are not considered overstaying if the application process exceeds the ITAS duration.
  • ITAS extensions are granted 1 day after the ITAS expiration date.
  • Staying in Indonesia over the period of your stay permit, engaging in prohibited activities, not complying with visa conditions, and/or not complying with Indonesian laws may result in you paying fines, being deported, and/or other legal charges.
